Cookie Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, web beacons) to operate and improve the platform.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — authentication session, CSRF protection, load balancing. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional — remembering your school, theme (light/dark), sidebar state, language preference.
  • Analytics — anonymised page views and feature usage so we can improve the product. No third-party advertising trackers.

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies.

3. Third parties

Authentication, payments (Stripe) and AI requests may set their own strictly-necessary cookies on their domains during checkout or sign-in flows. Each is bound by its own privacy policy.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and core platform features from working.

5. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies expire after a maximum of 12 months unless renewed by continued use.
