1. Agreement
By creating an account or using NalieTech Schools (the "Service"), the subscribing school ("you") agrees to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
NalieTech Schools is a cloud school management platform. Specific features available to you depend on your subscription tier and ministry compliance settings.
3. Accounts & authorised users
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for the actions of users you authorise. Promptly disable accounts when staff leave.
4. Acceptable use
- No uploading of content that infringes the rights of any person
- No use of the Service to harass, defame or unlawfully surveil learners or staff
- No reverse engineering, scraping or attempting to bypass security controls
5. Fees
Subscription fees are billed per learner per term, in the currency stated on your invoice. Late payment may result in suspension after a 30-day grace period. Statutory exports remain available during suspension.
6. Data ownership
You retain all rights to your school's data. We act as data processor under our Privacy Policy. On termination, you may export all data within 60 days; thereafter we delete it from production systems within 30 days and from backups within 180 days.
7. Service levels
We target 99.5% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance. Credits are available for sustained breaches per the SLA addendum.
8. Warranties & disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that AI-generated suggestions are free of error. Final responsibility for ministry submissions, ZIMSEC entries and discipline decisions rests with the school.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harare.
